Take Heart Friends & Family, Be encouraged. Though things may seem dire, we have much to look forward to. I am convinced a Revival is on the Horizon, and we need to prepare. Jesus is Coming. What will that look like? Will He find us here, wringing our hands over a rigged election? Some people may love Trump a little more than Jesus, and his departure off the Presidential dais feels like the death of a dear family member or friend. Take Heart. There is much work to be done, and it starts with prayer. Fervently pray for joy amidst trial, for the peace that surpasses all understanding and for strength in knowing that we, as believers in Christ, are planted firmly in the Palm of His Hand. And He has a Plan. Pray for others too. People are hurting. A lot. One friend cancelled tea today, feeling like she just got shot and needs to hide behind a tree. Another cried so hard she may've triggered an asthma attack. Like her, you might feel "disillusioned... violated and abused...
Jul Thompson I arranged two buses and 105 people to attend the Rally in DC on 6Jan2021. I knew many others would want to come from Western New York, and not just hope against hope we could put a stop to the end of free and fair elections in the “free world”, but support our President, who has accomplished so much , amid so much wasteful, reckless and senseless opposition. I am a firm believer that 99.999% of our fellow citizens we joined in DC did not participate in any acts of violence or vandalism, nor did we witness any. For all any of us knew, the steps may be accessible on any other given day. I was surprised to see a lamp stand on its side and its bulb broken amid the surge of people trying to get up the Capitol steps, but I understand it was caused by a ...
By Jul Thompson, Wife of Rus …. I have stories. Lol Some of you have heard this story, but it’s one Rus loved to tell. He was very fond of his Nana, his Mum’s mom, who was a rock, and solid support to the family. Well at the end of her life she had cancer and had lost a lot of weight and her hair. He’d visit her at the hospital and say “Hello Nana, how’s my sexy old broad?” and she said “Oh Rusty! Where’s my wig?? Hand me my wig, I look like Jimmy Durante!” Happy he’s with his Nana, mom, sister, brother and so many others now… ***** So here’s a little history on the day Rus and I met. We were living in the same apartment complex in Tucson AZ. I needed to change a tire, and saw this guy, down the way, working on his car. I asked if I could borrow his tire iron, and with unusual chivalry, he insisted upon changing my tire for me, despite my objections. He was working at La Paloma Resort as a cook, which by the way I helped build as a carpenter, and he was changing his ...
